On 15 November, at 1300 UTC, CALP will be hosting a global online launch of the State of the World’s Cash Report 2023.

Participants will learn of the key findings, debates and highlights from this comprehensive report. We’ll discuss trends and changes in the use of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA), analysing both the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

This third edition of The State of the World’s Cash Report (previously published in 2018 and 2020), represents a neutral and impartial assessment of the current context of CVA as part of humanitarian aid.  It’s a key reference for policy makers, practitioners, and researchers involved in humanitarian programming.

Packed with analysis and reflections, the ground-breaking 2023 report:

  • Analyses the views of people involved in CVA policy and practice from around the world
  • Synthesises research from the last 3 years, cross references findings with what the evidence tells us about the perspectives of people in crisis.
  • Identifies strategic debates and proposes priority actions for a variety of actors
