Amadou Diop
Technical Adviser
Amadou joined CALP Network as a Technical Advisor in August 2023. Amadou is a Microfinance, financial inclusion and social protection specialist with a focus on system strengthening, and shock-responsive social protection.
Amadou brings over 15 years of experience in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance to his role. Amadou’s professional journey has been diverse, encompassing roles with the Swiss Development Cooperation, the UN, and various NGOs and research institutions. His previous role was as a Social Protection Programme Policy Officer with WFP in Sri Lanka.
Amadou holds a master’s and Ph.D. in international development from the Graduate School of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
