NGO Policy Dialogue Roundtable

ICVA and CALP would like to invite NGOs to a one-hour roundtable discussion for NGOs on 29th February at 9am UTC as part of a BHA and CALP convened CVA Policy Dialogue process. Please register here.

As part of the process, constituency roundtables have been organized e.g., among local organizations, donors, UN agencies, Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, etc. This roundtable is only for NGOs.

Aim of the roundtable:

Build mutual understanding of “locally led CVA” and “people centred CVA”
Explore the barriers and opportunities to unlock progress
Discuss and document potential policy commitments

Tentative Agenda

• Introduction to the Policy Dialogue initiative – 5 mins
• Summary of issues to date – 5 mins
• Discussion – 40 minutes
• Wrap up and next steps – 5 mins

The roundtable will be supported with simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, English and French. Discussion groups will be organized by language.
