13 October 2022
15:00

Online

If you are interested in deepening your understanding of cash and voucher assistance (CVA) in the response to people on the move, including migrants, refugees and displaced persons, this event should be on your agenda.

We invite you to explore our recent study, “People are on the move: can the world of CVA keep up? Analysis of the use of CVA in the context of human mobility in the Americas,” and to bring your questions and/or reflections to this event where we will discuss your inquiries with experts in the field.

All you have to do is register and bring your questions/reflections to the event, which you can then share in the Q&A space. You can also put questions  in the registration form to participate in the event.

Likewise, during this discussion you will also learn about the main findings of our recent publication, including the presentation of the Systemic Framework on Human Mobility and Vulnerability that is proposed by this study.

Date: Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Time: 10:00 AM (EST)/9:00 AM (Panama)
Registration form here

Guests:

  • José Félix Rodríguez – International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
  • Paula Gil Baizan – Independent humanitarian consultant.
  • Jorge Baca – International Organization for Migration (IOM).
  • Sandra Arbaiza Canedo – World Vision Peru

This event will be conducted in Spanish with simultaneous translation to English.

Let’s continue to gather evidence together, be more creative and innovative in the design and implementation of humanitarian CVA and continue to positively impact  people on the move.

This study was made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The contents are the responsibility of the CALP Network and do not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the U.S. Government.
