Lebanon’s Social Protection System Suffers Amidst the Current War: Urgent Action Needed!

The policy paper assesses Lebanon’s social protection response to the ongoing war and provides recommendations for policymakers to further develop this response and later improve the shock-responsiveness and -resilience of the country’s social protection system. The policy paper is also proposing a list of immediate and medium-term recommendations to ensure the social protection system becomes more shock responsive.
