CVA: Your Role as a GBV Coordinator (UNFPA / GBV AoR)

UNFPA’s Humanitarian Office and the GBV Area of Responsibility have developed this guidance on “CVA – Your Role as a GBV Coordinator,” for GBV coordination group leads and partners in humanitarian settings. Its purpose is to outline the practical ways in which GBV Coordinators should support GBV- and gender-sensitive Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) across all sectors. The guidance includes inputs from different regions and aims to respond to frequently asked questions from GBV Coordinators in the field. It includes examples from three GBV coordination groups, as well as a tip sheet on advocating for GBV risk mitigation throughout the CVA programme cycle. French and Spanish language versions are forthcoming.
