Whitney Mills

Whitney is the Global Cash and Voucher Assistance Advisor for Danish Refugee Council (DRC). Based out of Copenhagen, Whitney has worked with CVA programming in some capacity since 2016, prior to this, she worked as a Global Humanitarian Advisor for DanChurchAid, and in various programmatic roles in Syria, South Sudan, Nepal, and Tajikistan. Whitney’s programmatic focus on CVA, and specifically locally led CVA has included working with partners in the delivery of CVA and support to community-led responses through Group Cash Transfer. Moving forward, she is heavily interested in linking locally led CVA responses to social protection systems and anticipatory action frameworks, and ways in which CVA can enable improved protection outcomes for people of concern.
