Cash Based Programme in Emergencies Specialist (Global lead)
In his current role, Aftab provides leadership and direction to Plan International on CVA, including technical support across all sectors. Previously he has worked with DGECHO, Islamic Relief Worldwide, United Nations Development Programme, Department of International Development funded projects, Ministry of Rural Development, India and Caritas India, across 21 years. Most recently he authored “Impact Assessment for Cash for Education Project funded by DGECHO in Egypt,”. This report measures the impact of CVA on education and protection outcomes through a gender lens, documenting good practice and lessons learnt.
