Sharon Sibanda

Senior Technical Advisor: Cash, Voucher and Market Based Programming

Organisation: World Vision International

Sharon is a humanitarian and development practitioner with over 18 years’ experience in complex and large-scale responses. She is passionate about quality programming informed by context and community voices and values capacity building of both field teams and communities as key drivers for quality implementation. Sharon is part of the WVI Global Cash and Voucher Programming team and also part of the WVI Global Rapid Response Team.

She deploys remotely and onsite to lead and support Cash, Voucher and Market interventions for crisis affected field offices. Sharon is also the focal point in her team for Southern and West Africa regions.

Sharon holds an MBA from the National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe) and an MSc in Development Studies from the University of the Free State (South Africa).
