Sandra Marcos Leon

Sandra Marcos Leon is an international development and humanitarian professional with nearly 18 years of experience in program design and management. She has experience in social development and with a variety of stakeholders including NGOs, Government Public Sector, and International Cooperation. She has worked for the International Federation of the Red Cross, the Peruvian Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, Save the Children, among others.
Sandra has extensive experience on a programs in a variety of sectors including education, financial inclusion, food security and livelihoods, multipurpose cash transfers, nutrition, protection, and has worked in development and humanitarian settings. Most recently, Sandra worked on programs and consultancies focusing on humanitarian assistance to Venezuelan migrants in Latin America.
Sandra holds Masters of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies for the KU Leuven and a postgraduate degree in Administration and Project Evaluation for the Maastricht School of Management. She is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English and French. She speaks Quechua at a basic level. She is based in Lima, Peru.
