Mohamad Mowakket
Planning and Monitoring Coordinator
Mohamad has experience in humanitarian work in Syria since 2008 as a volunteer and later in 2011 as an Emergency Programme Coordinator. His experience involved fundraising, programme management, needs assessments, evaluations, shelter, WASH sector, education in emergencies, training and capacity building. His focus was on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning in humanitarian and emergency programmes, and has experience working on projects funded by private and institutional donors such as ECHO, DFID/FCDO, OFDA, USAID, NMFA, UNOCHA and others.
He studied Applied Geology at Aleppo University in Syria and Business Administration in Anadolu University with a focus on Quality Management, Six Sigma, and LEAN operations.
He speaks Arabic and English fluently and speaks Turkish and French. Mohamad is currently residing in Huddersfield, England.
