Daphne Jayasinghe

Daphne Jayasinghe is Director of Policy for the IRC’s Global Protracted Displacement team. Her team works on improving international aid policy and finance directed toward countries impacted by conflict, crisis and displacement and promoting refugee inclusion. Daphne has an extensive background working on economic inclusion – including humanitarian cash – and gender issues serving as Women’s Human Rights Advocacy Director for Amnesty International USA and on women’s economic empowerment for ActionAid UK. Prior to working in the development, humanitarian and human rights sectors, Daphne worked on policy for the UK Government.
