Crys Chamaa

Crys is a cash and markets specialist, currently living in Lisbon, Portugal, with more than 8 years of experience in the humanitarian sector. Her career includes emergency cash, organizational cash preparedness and readiness, with policy and programming experience in protracted crises and conflict-prone settings in different regions.

Prior to her current role as technical advisor, Crys was the MENA Deputy Regional Representative with the CALP Network. Previous to that, she worked with Oxfam, the Lebanese Red Cross, and as an independent consultant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the American University of Beirut, a graduate certificate in Humanitarian Leadership from Deakin University and a MSc in Emergency Management and Resilience from Coventry University.
