Claire Mariani is the Humanitarian Cash Transfer Coordinator for UNICEF, based in New York UNICEF headquarter, where she has been overseeing UNICEF global scale up plan for cash transfers since 2017. She has been working with UNICEF for 10 years in various humanitarian contexts and capacities: in Somalia, Afghanistan and more recently as the Middle east and North Africa regional cash specialist. She has also worked with international NGOs such as Solidarites, Groupe URD and Medecins du Monde. She holds a master’s degree in international development and urbanism.
