Anissa Toscano is the Vice President, Humanitarian Leadership and Response for Mercy Corps, leading Mercy Corps’ teams focusing on emergency response, capacity building, security and crisis analytics work. Throughout her 25 year career, Anissa has filled senior leadership roles with a range of organizations including UK DFID, UN, NGOs and the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, providing field leadership for major disaster responses and advising at capital level on key operational and humanitarian policy issues.
