Sophie Tholstrup
Policy coordinator
In her role with le CALP Network, Sophie supports the development of policy that enables more effective, efficient and accountable cash and voucher assistance. She aims to ensure that le CALP Network provides an effective and independent platform to convene partners to find solutions to critical policy questions. Sophie brings 10 years of experience in humanitarian and development work. She previously worked for OCHA as Special Assistant to the Director of Operations and as an advisor on cash coordination, including deployments to Somalia and Haiti. Before this she worked as a Humanitarian Advisor for DFID, managing the UK’s humanitarian programme in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sophie has a Master’s degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, and a BA from the University of Oxford.
