John Lamm is a Food Security and Markets Advisor at the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP). He has worked on U.S. Government humanitarian assistance since 2008 on operations, policy and technical analysis, and geographic portfolios including Asia and Europe, the Middle East, East Africa, West Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. His coverage of Cash and Voucher Assistance has included participation in the USDA Local and Regional Procurement Pilot Project team and the USAID Emergency Food Security Program team and becoming one of the inaugural members of FFP’s Markets Team. Under the supervision of the EFSP and Markets Teams, FFP’s CVA portfolio has grown from $244 million in 2010 to over $1.2 billion in 2019.
