Core CVA Skills for Supply Chain, Finance and ICT Staff

The Fritz Institute in collaboration with IRC, have produced modules based on the content of the 5-day face-to-face training for the Core CVA Skills for Supply Chain, Finance & ICT Staff course.

Objectives

To ensure understanding of CVA and implications for Supply Chain, Finance, and ICT, develop basic competences to deliver CVA and build inter-functional understanding to support implementation.

Module 1: CVA & Operations

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Identify operations characteristics, requirements, challenges, and constraints that can impact CVA
  • Identify roles and responsibilities of humanitarian staff for CVA and coordination required
  • Identify the additional risks to operations associated with CVA implementation

Module 2: Design & Implementation Set-up

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Identify the information needed to define specifications for services to be provided by suppliers
  • Specify the requirements for procuring services to deliver CVA
