Webinar: Data sharing in CVA: ethics, ownership and privacy

16 October 2019

Objectives

As we become more and more digital in how we work with each other and with vulnerable people, data sharing, privacy and interoperability have become hot topics. For cash practitioners these topics present a complex maze to navigate, often without a reliable map.

Yet, underlying many of these topics is the idea of trust, built around an expectation that people and organisations who have access to data will use it in a “legal, moral and ethical way”. What, when and how is data shared between partners in a response – and how can this idea of ‘trust’ be interpreted in different scenarios? The CALP Network will explore these questions in a webinar with four expert speakers from its member network. Expect to hear about good and bad practices in data sharing, honest reflection on how data sharing agreements work in practice and more.
