Webinar – Adapting Food Security Data Collection to be more Disability Inclusive
Humanity & Inclusion (HI) would like to invite you to attend a Global Webinar launching a Guidance to adapt Food Security Data Collection to be more Disability-Inclusive on 28 and 29 May 2024. Please feel free to forward this invitation to colleagues who you think might be interested.
Under an HI implemented project – From Guidelines To Action – funded by ECHO and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, we are supporting the operationalization & localization of the IASC Guidelines on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action, focusing on disability inclusive coordination, data collection and programming in the Protection & Food Security sectors.
HI, together with a global technical task force, has developed a guidance review grid to adapt food security data collection tools to generate better information on persons with disabilities, in particular on addressing the four must-do actions in the IASC Guidelines. We would be very happy to demonstrate the guidance to you and collect your feedback.
We look forward to seeing you either on:
– Tuesday 28th May, 14:30 to 16:00 CET
– Wednesday 29th May, 11:00 to 12:30 CET (International Sign language interpretation will be available for this session)
