USA & Canada Community of Practice Meeting

CALP will host a meeting with members of the USA & Canada Community of Practice on Wednesday July 10th, 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30 (EST). The event will be online.

The meeting will explore the topic of CVA in contexts with fast changing security contexts with presentation from:

• Panos Navrozidis, BHA Project Director and Global Head of Programs, and Matt Stockton, Technical Security Risk Management Lead both from the Global InterAgency Security Forum. They will talk about global tendencies on security in humanitarian crisis and security and risk management connections to CVA.
• Tenzin Manell, Senior Cash and Markets Advisor, Core Response and CALP TAG member; she will share an example from Sudan.
• Joselyn Basantes, Humanitarian Coordinator, CARE; she will share an example from Ecuador.

Interested CVA professionals based in the USA and Canada are welcome to attend. It will not be recorded.
