Transformative Pathways to Resilience and Well-being in Cash and Voucher Programming – Middle East and Eastern European Regions
World Vision Middle East & Eastern Europe (WV MEER), in partnership with the CALP network in MENA, will be launching its new regional report entitled “Cash Waves: Transformative Pathways to Resilience and Well-being in Cash and Voucher Programming within World Vision’s Middle East and Eastern European Region.”
The event will feature technical experts from WV MEER, WV International as well as our Turkiye Project Manager from WV Syria Response, and a representative from our partner organization “DGASMB” in Romania.
The objectives of the event are to:
- Disseminate key findings and recommendations among fellow humanitarian and donor agencies who could utilize them in their own cash programming and funding mechanisms;
- Delve into the linkages between cash assistance and mental health, community cohesion, livelihood resilience, gender equality and social inclusion, while stressing the need for cash assistance to be streamlined through the various humanitarian sectors; and
- Highlight the importance of coordination and knowledge exchange between UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs and local partners within the CVA sector.
The full report will be available in December 2024.
