CAG External Briefing
*The meeting will primarily be in English. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in Arabic, French and Spanish.
The global Cash Advisory Group (CAG) is pleased to invite you to an external briefing on Tuesday 2nd May at 1pm (CET). The Global CAG was formed in June 2022 following the endorsement of the IASC Cash Coordination Model. The CAG reports to the IASC Deputies Group. The purpose of the this group is to support country level cash coordination technically and in terms of capacity with the overall aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of cash coordination. Key functions of the CAG are to support 1) standard setting and capacity building, 2) advocacy, global monitoring, and liaison and 3) resourcing and prioritization. The CAG is made up of 12 members including 2 chairs (OCHA and UNHCR).
This session will provide a brief overview of the work of the CAG to date including the upcoming priorities. The briefing will be interactive, and the agenda is geared towards a dedicated Q&A session, where you will have the chance to ask questions and provide your valuable inputs. We hope that this briefing will be an opportunity for you to understand the work of the CAG better and how you can engage in our work.
We are looking forward to hearing from many different partners, and your participation would be greatly appreciated. The session will last for 90 minutes and interpretation will be provided (French/Spanish/Arabic).
