Dennis Owano

Dennis is a humanitarian and development professional with a keen interest in reducing disaster risk by influencing policies, designing and implementing innovative initiatives in communities with crises. He has over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing Cash-Based interventions in both Kenya and Somalia.  Dennis has previously worked for ACTED, READO and GOAL on project development and grants management. Dennis holds a degree in Disaster Mitigation and Sustainable Development from Masinde Muliro University. Furthermore, Dennis has expertise in designing and implementing projects in the following sectors: Food Security & Livelihoods Health, Nutrition, WASH and Education.
