Alice Golay

Senior Technical Officer

Organisation: The CALP Network

Alice is a Senior Technical Officer for the CALP Network based in Geneva. She has close to 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector. Her work on CVA includes being the CVA Programme Officer for the Swiss Development and Cooperation agency (SDC) and the Regional CVA Programme Officer for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Panama, she provided constant support to the 11 country offices in the region in preparedness, setting-up and scaling up CVA in their operations, including during fast and slow-onset emergencies, positioning WFP as a provider of technical assistance to governments and conducted the WFP CVA five-day trainings. Before that, Alice worked for WFP in Niger, Pakistan, Mali and in Rome, in different roles including as a Food Security Cluster Coordinator. She also worked as a reports officer for the ICRC Directorate.
