Highlights from Bioforce Institute Graduation Event in Dakar

28 June 2019 — By The CALP Network

On Thursday 13th June 2019 the CALP Network was part of a graduation event hosted by the Bioforce Institute, one of our training partner organisations. This event celebrated the graduation of all the Bioforce students that followed the CALP Network’s CVA fundamentals course, which was delivered by our West Africa capacity building staff, Kadaf Abdourahamane and Abdoulaye Hamidou.

In November 2018, Bioforce Institute became one of the CALP Network’s training partner organisations, along with a range of other training providers, which will enable more humanitarian actors to develop their skills in cash and voucher assistance.

The event was attended by over 80 students who received graduation certificates from the CALP Network as well as other Bioforce partner organisations including Plan, UNICEF, Terre des Hommes, and the French Red Cross.

Overall, the participants enjoyed the opportunity to validate the work they have completed, and the event enabled us to further promote the partnership between the CALP Network and Bioforce and the different courses we offer.

With an attendance of students and training organisations from all over the region, the CALP Network has successfully continued to raise the visibility of and access to quality CVA training.
